Montour Preserve’s Second Sugaring Open House

Sunday, March 6 might bring dripping skies, but the sap should be dripping also with the advent of warmer weather. Bring your umbrella and waterproof shoes to see demonstrations on turning maple sap into sweet maple at PPL’s Montour Preserve Sunday afternoon. Indoor sessions begin at noon, 1, 2 and 3 p.m. on folklore and history of maple sugaring with outdoor demonstrations from noon until 4 p.m. Maple products will be for sale provided by Roloson Brothers Maple Syrup. If the weather is too wet, they will be set up in the Environmental Education Center.
