Pennsylvania peregrines make progress

According to F. Arthur McMorris of the Pennsylvania Game Commission, the state’s peregrines are doing quite well. This year we had 29 active nests, with 23 of them successfully fledging 63 young. The various sites at PPL facilities around the state produced 8 young peregrines this summer. And although the nesting pair falcons that nested atop the PPL Tower building in Downtown Allentown has moved to a new location, they remain in Allentown and had 3 young.
