Mine the musical past

Hear some great music and learn about Pennsylvania’s rich past during this free, musical program at 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at PPL’s Susquehanna Riverlands.

Musician Jay Smar returns to the Susquehanna Riverlands to tell stories and sing folk songs about our area’s proud coal-mining history, the world’s first “gravity” railroad and the invention of the roller coaster, among other things. Come out for an evening of toe-tappin’, hand-clappin’ fun.

This program will be held at PPL’s Susquehanna Energy Information Center.
