A much appreciated donation

Dennis Baker, Lobelia CardinalisWe had a great turn out yesterday at the Brunner Island Wetlands as we planted about 250 lobelia cardinalis plants. Next year as the red cardinal flowers emerge we can thank Dennis Baker, who started the plants from seeds he had collected, donated the plants and gathered a team of volunteers (pictured) to help plant them. This is a wonderful addition to enhance the wetlands as hummingbirds and butterflies flock to these plants.
